After Sun won his Alolan Championship rank, Lillie left for Kanto to both go on a journey of her own and to find Bill, a Pokémon Researcher who could possibly have the antidote for her mother, who's still infected by the Nihilego poisoning. Lillie had left behind a harsh past full of fear and mystery, but now she can start over on a new slate.
