Jasper Meizner has never enjoyed violence, but one fateful winter night he's surrounded by a group of vampires intent on killing him.
Now, vampires are generally peaceful creatures, and don't normally cause a lot of trouble. Unless you're a Hunter, that is.
Cursed with the Mark of a Hunter and his family name Jasper has to figure a way out of this situation, but it seems his luck has run out.
Until a witch with an attitude and her vampire best friend come to his rescue, but this comes with a cost. Jasper is forced into the vampire's servitude until he deems his debt fulfilled, but when his new vampire master discovers his heritage it seems like Jasper's debt will never be paid.
