Remarketing is useful in reaching out to people who have visited your website in the past who have visited your website or have managed to use your application. Previous users can view ads as they browse websites that are a part of the Google Display Network.
In order to setup remarketing, you will have to add the remarketing tag to you website/application that you own. You will also have to create remarketing lists and build up a remarketing campaign that makes use of your lists.
Remarketing allows you to display advertisements to individuals who have been on your website & used your mobile app before. When individuals leave your website without buying anything remarketing is a way for you to reconnect with visitors by displaying relevant advertisement as they browse the web, use mobile apps.
A thing called Dynamic remarketing takes this to the next leve. They include products or services that people viewed on your website within the advertisement. Dynamic remarketing requires taking additional steps. I.E : adding custom parameters to your website's tag and creating a feed, it can deliver customized, higher-performance ads.
Ways to remarket with Google
Standard remarketing: Display advertisements to past visitors as they browse Display Network websites or use Display Network apps.
Dynamic remarketing: Display dynamic advertisement to past visitors with products & and services they viewed on your website as they browse Display Network websites Or browse Display Network apps.
Remarketing for mobile apps: Display Dynamic advertisements to people who have used your mobile app or mobile website.
Remarketing lists for search ads: Display advertisement to past visitors as they do follow-up searches for what they need on Google.
Video remarketing: Show ads to people who have interacted with your videos or YouTube channel as they use YouTube and browse Display Network videos, websites, and apps.
