Tensions run high and distrust is everywhere in the New Republic after the war has begun, and chaos ensues.

Malarrine is in ruins, and the New Republic hangs on by a thread. A harsh betrayal is on its way, one especially crippling to our heroes. Kiracel is a senator now, keeping her dark secret to herself. Leia, Han, and Luke are generals of the army, and Leena is a commander.  The Empire is closing in fast. 

Will our heroes be able to pull the New Republic together before the Empire destroys it?

Luke has begun to find other Force sensitives varying in age, and with Leena's help has started training a small group to become Jedi and possibly form an order of its own. Kira has continued to be a Sith assassin and has spent these last few years adding casualties to her list. Fresh from the Battle of Endor, Leia finally has time to contemplate the fact Luke is her brother and - more horrifically - her father was the infamous Darth Vader. While everyone is celebrating the definitive end of the Empire, she stays in her quarters and wonders what this effect could have on her. She had just learnt she was the daughter of the most evil and powerful being in the galaxy, her best friend was in fact her brother and that she was capable of the exact same power they both held. That would mess with anyone's head! When she finally rejoins her fellow comrades in the festivities, she finds herself face to face with an old friend of hers. Ahsoka Tano. Being the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, she knew Leia's father well (at least, before he became a tyrant). Ahsoka talked all night with Luke and Leia, telling them tales of the Clone Wars, with Commander Rex joining in to show his admiration of his lost general. What if they could go back and stop the Empire from ever happening? What if they could stop their father from decending into the dark side? What if they could prevent the destruction of the Jedi? What if they could stop the Emperor before he even started? Minor spoilers for Clone Wars, Rebels and possibly Mandalorian. I say minor because it's mostly just easter eggs here and there and the rest you're smart enough to figure out on your own. And if I owned Star Wars or the cover art for this fic, you would know about it.
