Muffled Screams

Tick tock tick tock tick tock....the same sound of my rooms clocks . I suddenly woke up to the same sound.this sound is becoming a part of my life these days. It is the only sounds i could hear apart from my harsh and ragged breaths. My bedroom was dark with only a little amount of moonlight peeping from windows . Sweat was forming on my forehead. My throat felt dry i needed a glass of water to quench my thirst. The water pitcher on my table was empty.I called for my mamma who used to sleep beside me.But to no Avail she was no where to be found.i started towards the hallway leading to kitchen .the marble floor felt cool against my bare tiny legs. I reached the kitchen and pulled out a bottle from my refrigerator and drank. Suddenly i heard a a screech of a door i switched off the kitchen light and hid myself under one of the kitchen cabinet.it was my mamma's sound she is talking .no she was crying .she was crying and talking .....to the same Man
