Clara Marie is a shy average girl; she's quite normal however her life isn't quite as normal as she is.

Clara and her mother ran away from home to get away from her abusive and aggressive father she never wants to see him ever again as he left her mother in an egregious state which angered her and made her loathe her father even more.

when she moves to America she goes to an all-girl sixth form and tries to get on with her life, however, despite managing to stay alive for a year and covering her tracks up real good her father has a lead as to where they are!

Clara stays late after college one day due to the amount of revision and homework and tells her mother, however, her friend Maddy won't be able to come as she needs to look after her mom who's badly ill. Clara understands and stays late that day but as soon as she reaches home after the session she is grabbed by the arm from a man.
