This is not a dating story. It's not a love story. It's not a breakup story. It's just a story of a girl who's parents don't love her enough. Taegan is a normal 15 year old girl. She has long, dark brown hair and green eyes. She is just like you and me. But one day, in the middle of the Summer term at school, a terrible thing happens to Taegan. Her parents could help her. They could fix her. They could keep her alive. But they have the holiday of a lifetime planned. They are going to Australia that summer, with Taegan's two older sisters, and supposedly Taegan. And her parents do not want to sacrifice their holiday. So they have to choose. Keeping their youngest child alive, or going on the trip of a lifetime, to the Great Barrier Reef. The decision Taegan's parents make change her whole life. It also shows her that she has the world's greatest friends. Read on to follow Taegan on a journey that will define who she is, while trying her patience and love and opening her eyes to the real world. A/N: I don't know why I named the book what I did. If anyone has any better ideas, please comment them, and if I like one, I'll change the title.
