The year was eleven hundred and four; it was just after the turn of the century. There were three teenagers. The first of them was Conner, or as his fellow trainees called him, Cutter, he was only fifteen years old, had short brown hair, and was the tallest of the three. Kevin, his best friend, gave him his nickname because of his strength, and his skill with a sword he could cut through just about any object, even another sword given the right circumstances.
The second of them was Samantha or just Sam for short, she was also 15 years old, had long brunette hair and the most beautiful blue eyes that would change to yellow depending on her mood. She and Conner were no more than a month apart. What set her aside from all the other girls in the village was that she was brave and strong for her size, because of that she had very boyish qualities, but she also knew how to hide those and just be a girl. There was one more thing about Sam, she used magic.
Last of the group was Kevin or as his fellow trainees sometimes called him; Blade. He was not sure how he picked up the name; he always thought it was because of how he was top in the sword fighting class. Although unlike Conner and Sam, his path, was not always so clear, he had no idea what he really wanted to be, he just knew what the king told him he had to do.

After years, not even her best friends knew that she had her Mangekyou Sharingan for the longest time. Only when they became a team again did they learn what had really happened that day. She never lost her smile and her joy. However, her manner crumbled now and then, which Akina quickly regained. Always sworn never to use her Mangekyou Sharingan, the Fourth World War made her use it.
