Mirrors hold truths, well distorted versions anyway.
Looking in the mirror might cause some people to smile but it causes Tasmin to die a little more inside, because after all her reflection is nothing what she really looks like, her mirror image is a monster and it's determined to destroy Tasmin in the only way it knows how, challenge her.
Wishing your reflection to change, isn't going to change it, Tasmin knows this; she tries to do things to change her mirror image, but it never works, what she doesn't realise is that to change ones reflection is to change the outlook on oneself but that also lies within her tangled past, and her dad.
Can she find her true Mirror Image before it destroys her?
