Ashton Clarke - Sierra's "best friend". Sierra's parents are like parents to him and and his little sister. Lives with his father Thomas and his little half sister Mia. Ashton has an older brother named Liam. Liam is newly married and lives in a big beautiful house far way from his family. Ashton's mother is in prison. She had Ashton's older brother when she was 15, Ashton when she was 21 and Mia when she was 30. She never gave that love and comfort to Liam and Ashton while growing up. She used to hurt them, get drunk, have male strangers over and never celebrate their birthday. She didn't care about them. Until Mia was born. Then Thomas found out that she was hiding his sons from him in 15 years. So he took Liam, Ashton and Mia away from her. And the police locked her down in prison. As a kid Ashton used to get bullied a lot too.

Sierra Heart - Ashton's "best friend". Lives with her parents, Elisabeth and Tayler. Her father is overprotective but he fully trusts Ashton until things change in their friendship. Tayler is a cop and Elisabeth is the manager for the boss at NCUA company. So she travels for work sometimes. Sierra have dealt with trying to make girl friends in her life. It's much more complicated than making guy friends. Ashton and Sierra have helped each other through hard times and stood up for each other when they ever needed something or someone.
