All Shado Perry wanted to do was have an adventure. But with her mom dating a guy who's way too young for her, her best friend being in a coma, and her barely making it through school. All she gets is a sucky effed up life. That is until she sees two guys and two girls decked out in black under her window, she decides that was her moment to have an adventure. She soon learns about the downworlders, demons, and Shadowhunters.
What she doesn't understand, is why the guy with the brown hair and red leather jacket saved her life. Or why she could do things normal people couldn't. Even she wants to know why she came on this adventure.
