Sometimes you just keep going back to someone. It might not necessarily be because you're happy with this person, or because this person brings you joy. Sometimes you don't even know why you're going back. You try and try to piece things together, but it never works. The only logical reason you do this is because you love them.
You love them so much and so strongly, that you can't give up. No matter what they do, they'll always be the one you love. They'll always be the one you turn back to.
So when I went back that day, it wasn't because I wanted to be happy, but because I love him.

"Do you feel safe with him?" the question seemed silly; in my head I had immediately laughed at it because it was so absurd. How could I not feel safe with Niall?
