If Raph were to ask any of his brothers to describe him in one word, he knows he would get words like hard-headed, hothead, loud, and impatient.  He knows he is not the most level-headed person in his family, but now, he has to care for the most delicate and tiny thing that he has ever laid hands on in his life.  

Raph does not think he can step up to the challenge, and change his whole personality to ensure everything will be okay, but he has no choice now.  He has to step into his new role as a single father and all the challenges and emotions that come with it.
