Thea Rousseau-Capello is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ever since she was young, she's spent most of her time on the run, moving from one town to the next, never once sticking around for too long once something weird happens. Her life was complicated but predictable, until a simple field trip goes south and turns Thea's world upside down.

It turns out that reality isn't what it appears to be, that her dad's bedtime stories were more than just make-believe. The gods and monsters from all of the world's myths and legends are real, and they're aiming to ruin what little normalcy Thea had left.
