Jessie's father disappears amid a cloak of mystery leaving behind a mural he'd promised to create in her room. Jessie knows her father would never just leave their family and she believes with all her heart he'll be back any second. Besides, how far could he actually go without his shoes, phone, and keys? He even left his wallet! After more than a year of waiting for him to come home, why hasn't she given up? Why hasn't her mother moved on? And why does she keep smelling salt air in her room?
