Kara and Jonny were best friends when they were young. They'd always hang out, had many inside jokes, and watch hockey together (of course). When Kara gets the news that her family is moving to Perth, Australia, she is devastated. She doesn't want to lose her friend. They try to make things work but they end up losing connection. Fast forward 13 years and Kara gets the opportunity of a life time. She moves to Chicago to follow her dreams but she's shocked when she finds who lives across the hall.
