A poem that digs deep into a past experience that takes a long time to bring to the surface long enough to release it on paper and into words. Real life is not always grand. There are moments we face horrid and dreadful things. I only hope this helps all those that have faced it as well.

The story of bullying and romance and gangs. And abuse. It shows how any life can get out of hand. "My boyfriends father is choking me! Because I won't let him rape me!" Does she give in or not? "My family will be looking for you and me. They will come save me so you better let me go." "Your family isn't your family no more we hear that you have gone different paths is that not true. And before you lie. We have a lie detector here. And if anyone goes looking for you they will see your note that you will be gone for awhile." My fear started to eat at me. Have you ever felt so lonely you believed there was nothing left for you? Stashed away, merely forgotten. I mean you could cry and cry, yet no one would hear you. At least no one you truly once loved. Being yourself can be detrimental to others happiness, and so you down play who you are.
