Mildred Pace and James Laid were married, and after only a year they divorced. Mili ran away from anything that reminded her of James. Two years later her sister is engaged and demands for Mili to come back. When she comes back she discovers that everyone moved on without her, including James. Mili wants to get completely over James, he's happy after all, but sometimes what we want isn't what our heart wants.
