"And what? Your trying to see the man behind the Lion. Testing my limits? Seeing if anyone could love me? If-If I could love anyone? I'm not your puppet, I'm not your charity project, find someone else to 'rescue.' I don't need saving."
He stared at me with such intensity and infuration that for once, I saw the beast behind the man.
He started to walk away as memories of last night flashed in my mind... The tension and trust that built up, but along with it something that maybe only one sided, and if I wasn't going to get hurt I was gonna have to take a page out of Nathan's book, armor...

I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
