Claire Vorhees was a quiet, shy, 16 year old girl who steered herself away from ever being the center of attention. She stays mainly to herself and only really talks to her best friend, Karsyn. One night she finds herself being attacked by a few drunk guys after walking home from the library, but is saved by a mysterious boy. After this incident she consistently finds herself running into him and grows more and more curious of why he's constantly popping up in her life suddenly.
Jaidon Anderson was only 17 when he found himself being turned into a vampire. He was homeless, starving, and living on the streets hundreds of years ago, until a beautiful, mysterious women took him in. Turning him into her personal toy, he became convinced he was in love. After agreeing to turn him, his love was killed during his transformation. When he woke up, she was gone. One night, he found a couple of guys attacking a girl and decided to save her and feast on her himself. Once he goes to get his share, he discovers she looks exactly like his dead lover. He instantly becomes attracted to her and senses the same blood as his dead lover too. He does whatever he can to involve himself in her life, becoming possessive and protective. He also finds it hard to control himself around her, craving not only her but her taste.
