" he asks stunned, he paces around for a few minutes "I can't take care of a child right now" he snaps holding the office table tightly. "We have to because I have no way to go," I say pleading for acknowledgment and understanding. "what do you mean, " he said eyeing me suspiciously. "my parent disowned me," I say looking down in shame. "I will take you in but don't expect me to care for you and your baby because all this means nothing to me" he glanced at me before walking out of his office. Tears run down my cheek, feeling of embarrassment, and lost claws in my heart. I lost everything my family, my self-esteem, I feel lost and worthless. Most of all I lost love.

Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself. My father blames me. This is my story about how I learned to not count on anyone else but myself. I'm broken. I'm used. No one can fix me. But when the New Boy in town tries to fix me, everything will change. Good change or Bad change, I don't know. Only time will tell. I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. Living the high end rich life with designer clothing, homes, yachts and other fun stuff sounds like the dream. Right? Especially with your dad being a hot shot business man and your mom being a top fashion designer. Wrong. It has it's perks. Believe me. But the truth is....my life is a fake. To the public we seem like the picture perfect, loving family. In reality, the Wayford family is the opposite. My mother is cheating on my dad. My father couldn't care less about me. I sat with my knees pulled up to my chest, I put my hand on the window of the car, wiping away some of the fog. My father and the guy who had just bought me, shook hands, finalizing the arrangement, as they stood on our front porch... or could you even call it that? The rain came down making it hard to see. Yes, breathing. Everyone knows how to do it, but it's normal for someone to forget how to, right? Right now, I felt as if my lungs had been ripped from my chest... or was that just my heart? My buyer ran from the porch, covering his head with his jacket. He stepped into his Mustang, and pulled it into reverse. Then with a simple movement, he turned the vehicle around and headed down the drive.
