There was just this part about Scott that I couldn't identify. Whatever it was, it separated him from everyone else. I sure did use to believe I would never have someone fall in love with me. I wasn't someone who thought I would never fall for another boy. I've fallen so many times. Did I ever expect any of those boys to trip and fall at the same time as me? Not in a million years, not for a boy like me. Yet here Scott was, saying the treacherous three words and leaning his lanky body forward to kiss me like he meant it.
