One day I was really upset about something and for some reason I decided to grab a pen and paper and when I finished what I had scribbled down I was like, "hey, that could be a poem." Weird, I know right? That's how I began this whole poetry thing (without being forced to by teachers). A little while later I posted it here on wattpad just to see what others would think.
I honestly didn't and don't consider myself as a "poetic" type of person. For me, writing poetry is just away for me to let my emotions out with out crying all over the place or cussing anyone out lol. It strangely makes me feel better afterwards.... Sometimes lol.
In this collection of my poems some of them are about me, or things I can relate to, or things that have just been on my mind.
So basically what I'm doing is gathering my old poems (some u may or may not have read) and I'm collecting them under this one book, I guess u could call it. I'll be add more poems but don't expect frequent updates because I only write poems when I'm "in the mood" lol.
Everyone's opinions are welcomed (as long as you're respectful about it) so don't hesitate to comment.
Sooo, enough of me rambling and go read!

As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, a lot of my thoughts are bound to not be very pleasant. But hey, some of them are quite philosophical and positive. But that's rare. *Wattpad deleted my original and i have literally no idea why. There was no smut, rasicm,eating disorders, or anything triggering in my story except violence and some mild swearing. There are so many stories on this app that actually go against the guidlines and they took mine down :( Thankfully I have the Sequal backed up on another app i use for writing and can put it back up. Im still sad howver I was working so hard to finish it. I also want to let yall be aware despite the Maturity tag theres no real spice in this story. I put the mature tag on so they didnt come for me if they thought something was to descriptive. Anyways the real description:* "Let me fucking go you asshole!" Have you ever done something crazy or unthinkable for money? Well, Sydney Parker has. She's no stranger to hard work since she grew up in the foster system and spent her whole life bouncing from house to house until she was emancipated at seventeen. Once finished with her bachlours degree she began working her way to masters for Social Work she's finding an opportunity to keep her more than afloat but to do it she needs money, lots of it, and fast. After stumbling across egg donation she could only find reasons for doing it. She tried to leave it all of the behind her as she promised she was going to be able to. Includnig proceeding with her investment and even starting a new and serious relationship. That is until after a year she gets a knock at her door and opens it to a something she truely never could have thought about in a million years. Her own baby at her doorstep. I wrote this book around 2013/14 so I wasn't but a young teen and given its continued popularity over the years I've now decied with my maturity and education it's time to actually officially come back and rewrite and edit. ( I know ive said this before but I really mean it this time but if my ADHD wants to get in the way there's not much I can say). Currently I've decided to keep the story up for the time being but by Jan 1st 2024 only the first 3-5 chapters will be available to be read free here on Wattpad and then the full story will be available to read throuh Kindle and posssibly buy as a book. The Overshared And Underappreciated Mind Of A Hopeless Romantic
Writing has always been a secret indulgence. It's something I keep to myself most days and it will continue to be something I share with very few people. Bound in these flimsy plastic rings is a brief rundown of me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Nothing in here is terribly out of the ordinary for a teen girl who grew up before she was supposed to. A girl whose life was never hers to live. A lot of the time, I never know what's going on. I find it helpful to write down what I don't understand to try and make sense of the world around me. Writing these pieces has helped me find peace in my life. This class has proven more cathartic than I thought. That being said, there are some topics that can be sensitive here. I've starred the titles that could be triggering for some in the table of contents. If you are bothered by mentions of: abuse, self harm, or talks about mental health and illnesses, I suggest avoiding the starred titles.
