Until Chance's 16th birthday he was almost like everyone else, and then he woke up in the dream world. As he learns what this means he learns more about what it means to be him, along with finding a new friend in Jason, someone who once bullied Chance for his Down Syndrome. The two of them work together to defeat a being from another plane, who wants to use the dreamers to help him take the Earth from the humans... and it's not until then they learn there are others in the dream world. Chance is special, thanks to him being born with a very specific ability he can only use in the dream world, one passed to him by his deceased father. With these new people in his life he's able to defeat the being, help the girl he cared about, and begin to accept what it means to be a night guardian.

Kole is an Ayumu. His job is to come to people's houses late at night and clear the nightmares from their dream catchers before daylight comes, hung just above their heads. But what happens when Kole meets someone who can manipulate them? Once a simple job, Kole is swept up in the world of dreams and nightmares that he never imagined he would have to endure, while discovering his own purpose and how it comes to clash with hers along the way. Can they ever escape the eternal mystery of a lucid dream? ( Note : This story is fairly old. I previously wrote it for a contest, but it ended up being too long to submit. Dante Colle Archiviste, Archie for short, is the only heir to the toy company, Archie's World, which makes toys and games and anything fun for a child. But, one day, Archie starts having weird dreams, dreams that give him information, but unfortunately, he can't remember them vividly. He soon realizes those dreams are connected to the real world, and decides to ask someone for help, completely ignorant of what's to come. I got the idea for this story from a dream I had, so I guess it's original. I dreamt that a character was going through these dreams, but I woke up before I could know what those dreams meant. So, I thought, I think this might be it. I hope you enjoy.
