Life with a speech disorder sucks. People are constantly putting you down, teasing you, laughing at you and making jokes about you; it's not very encouraging when you're already shy enough.
Another thing that sucks? Speech therapy. Seeing a 'professional' at least once a week because apparently they have the required skills to cure you of unclear speech. It's stupid really; to think that one individual is skilled enough to help you pronounce words properly. Speech is something that you learn as a baby, how exactly can you be 'taught' how to speak later in life? It makes no sense.
Still, I'm stuck going to speech therapy twice a week. Maybe it will help, I don't know, I just don't have much hope.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
