Icebreaker (1) -Charlie Conway
Lyla Mitchell is just your typical hockey player, except that she is a child prodigy playing for one of the best teams in Minnesota, the hawks. She is a hot head on and off the ice, and she's not afraid to speak her mind to people-and by people she means Charlie Conway. Charlie and Lyla have been enemies for years now, and when a district screw-up jeopardizes her and her childhood best friend Adam banks hockey dreams, the tension becomes the highest its been in a while. -this story is based off of the first mighty ducks series. I don't own any of the characters except for Lyla Mitchell. Tbh the only reason I made this series(yes series)an enemies to lovers series is that I could make fun of Charlie LMAO. Anyways hope you enjoy!- -also I apologize for my grammar mistakes and the cringness😭- -this is sort of just a filler book for my other books so please I know it sucks but push through the pain and i promise the other books will be way better-Complete
forever yours • adam banks
There's an old saying that goes, "People say you don't know what you've got till it's gone. But the truth is, you just never thought you'd ever lose it." And that is exactly the case for Ella Walker and Adam Banks. The dynamic duo - the outgoing and friendly soccer star combined with the quiet and gentle hockey prodigy. When a twisted story tears them apart at the end of seventh grade, right after Adam returns from the Junior Goodwill Games, things aren't good for the next two years. Now both being freshmen and having matured, the pair reconnects and discover why their friendship was ruined. They pick up everything up right where they left off, and it's like no time has passed. They explore what it would be like to be more than friends... something they've both wanted to do for years, but were never able to admit. Adam and Ella think they're finally in the clear, with their friendship and their feelings that are impossible to ignore being stronger than ever... until it's the exact same person who comes along and ruins everything again. When the ultimate betrayal happens, things get messy. And the plan that was simply meant for payback ends up leading to even more problems, plus a major grudge. Will this be the end of Adam and Ella's relationship and their friendship as a whole? Or will their friends band together, showing the pair that all they really need... is each other? "Oh c'mon Ella, don't act so stupid. You know damn well that I'm still in love with you." What happens when the perfect couple isn't so perfect anymore? A lot has changed since Ella Walker and Adam Banks were freshmen, and that's including their recently changed relationship status. The split was unexpected, especially when everyone thought that everything was fine. They were the perfect couple, the one that everyone envied and wanted to be like. Everyone is wondering two things... Where did this come from? And why did this even happen in the first place? Was it sports? School? Someone else? Someone fell out of love? Or was it just that classic right person, wrong time scenario? When all is said and done, everyone assumes that the pair will make a comeback. However, when Ella rekindles with another old flame, things get messy, and the biggest problem with assuming... is that you may end up being wrong. Will this be one of those cases where everyone is wrong? Or will Ella and Adam find a way to come back stronger, like they always have before? [book 4 of my mighty ducks series - companion book to forever yours, the choice, and worth the risk]
