A 23 year old girl is lonely after her parents tragic accident that left them in the hospital. Her sister Alabama is gone for the next few months traveling for work. Hadley visits her parents one Monday and finds out her father has died. Her Mother is getting better but with her heart in pieces she feels as distant from her mother as possible. She drives home from the hospital and a little grey tabby runs in the middle of the road in front of her eyes. The young cat is hit and the driver doesn't even stop. Hadley runs out into the road without thinking and grabs the bundle of fur. She names this cat Spark. Spark will cuddle her way into Hadleys heart and may be able to fix Hadley from the accident a few months before. But before her heart is fully mended something tragic happens that will leave Hadley crumpled into a million pieces.
