James and Lily Potter have been dead for 12 years, both falling victim to the killing curse by the hand of the darkest wizard of all time. Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard known to have survived the killing curse. Having grown up with his Aunt, Uncle, and cousin, he never felt like he truly had a home until he went to Hogwarts. Slowly, his mind broke and set to one of a child, he found the small bits of pain that came to him interesting, against his numb body and loved to see how far he could go.
