Jaz and Haz Ellen, twins, go to a normal high school. There, they make normal marks and have normal friends. They have a normal mother, aside from the fact that she is completely wheelchair bound and expected to die from breast cancer. They have a normal father, aside from the fact that he left years ago for his hot, normal secretary.
Basically, it's a shitty life, but it's routine enough that most normal people could forget about it soon after hearing it.
That is, until the day that a gorgon shows up in their alleyway and tries to kill them both.
