This story is about young girl named Hennessy. She got her name from her mother, which was a addict. At birth the doctors didn't know about her mothers addiction, so she left the hospital with no problem. As Hennessy got older her mother would abuse her and when Hennessy went to school her teachers saw the abuse and called DCF, and they took Hennessy from her mother. Till this day Hennessy's biological mother is in prison for child abuse. Hennessy got adopted by a nice couple and they raised her into a bright young lady. Hennessy is 17 years old in the 12th Grade. She has 2 great friends by the names of Grace and Amber. Her friend Grace has a boyfriend by the name of Jack, while Amber and her is still single. Hennessy isn't really looking for a boyfriend but what will happen when their is a new boy at their school and her biological mother gets out of jail. Read the book to find out.
