The Human Slave

I was a slave to the Elf King. I was human and elves had killed all family but my brother when they stepped into that cursed portal to come to earth and release war to the human race. I'm one out of 147 humans that survived their brutal torture. I will not give them the satisfaction of seeing me in pain, cry, or scream. I have almost forgotten my true name, for none speak it. Almost, almost is to close.

The King's son will be back with his friends and they will all see me again. It has been a year since they have left to study for being the next rulers of Fantasy, the niece lace opposite of Reality, yet both share many things.

I have been dreading today, for the real torture will be starting once more, and the weak girl that I have locked up will have to be shown. The girl who I used to be during their bet, the bet that killed all other humans. We were forced to survive, forced to kill and slaughter each other like animals, like monsters. None thought that I'd survive out of all 147 of us. They are in for a surprise.

I haven't given you a name to know me by yet, well..

They call me Slave.

There will be the occasional inappropriate word or foul language in this book. I do not cuss often so I won't write often except where it's needed. This IS a YOUNG ADULT book for probably 7th graders and up, but that's just my recommendation.
