After trashing her scholarship and throwing her grades down the toilet, headstrong, stubborn Ally Kingsley is off to her new life as a college student in Wilmington, North Carolina. With a once alcoholic mother and a deadbeat father, Ally has learned to take care of herself almost her entire life growing up in small town Jacksonville, NC; she earned outstanding grades, received a music scholarship in her junior year of high school, and even made the audition cuts into the NYC Dance Company.
