On 5 November 1992, Boothwood School pupil Charles Irvine was blackmailed and murdered by the caretakers who left him to die.
18 years later, he came back as the Star Pupil to terrorize the school, only for modern-day pupil Jake McDowell clearing Charlie's name and defeating the killer, nearly risking his own life in the process.
However, it is not over for Charlie as he is now after the last in his family bloodline: his sister. She will not know why but will her past return to haunt her? Can Jake rescue her in time before it's too late? What will be left for the Star Pupil? Is he near his very end?
One thing for sure, is that family is forever more than school.
