Haylie Felton dreams of death. Every night since she was seven, she has seen another death that would take place the next day. She sees the whole scene play out -mostly caused by illness, sometimes natural causes, very rarely suicide and sometimes even murder. If she dreams of death every night it is inevitable that she will eventually see the death of someone she knows. She thought it would be an elderly relative or kind old neighbour. She never dreamed it might be the boy she doesn't know if she can live without. With only one day to stop the death of her love will she be able to find a way to change his fate?

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her.
