Manhattan [Manny] Hart was, is a broken girl. She had gone through hell and back even before the apocalypse. She only had one goal in her life and no that wasn't to go to college or have a family or travel around the world. All she wanted was her baby sister, London [Lonny], to be safe and happy. Lonny was the light of Mannys life, she was the only thing that kept her breathing and fighting. Without Lonny, Manny had nothing. Now Manny and the hot headed archer, Daryl Dixon constantly butted heads. They always disagreed with each other and always exchanged mean looks. They didn't understand each other but at the same time they did. They were similar in many ways, both coming from a horrible past that left them broken and scarred. Manny and Daryl were different in many ways as well, Manny and Daryl had different opinions about different things, one had bad life from the beginning and the other having a good life for a while. When Rick gets reunited with his family and sees Manny, what happens? He knows something about Manny that no one else knows, but what is it? A secret that can either lead to a bonded or an untrusting relationship. A secret that can either break the group or help them recover. A secret that can change Manny for the better or for worse. But how long can Manny keep the secret before the whole group knows? Will this secret change Mannys and Daryl's relationship? Maybe soon they will realize that they aren't as different as they thought.

P.S. there is an age gap between Daryl and Manny, Daryl is 31 and Manny is 17, so if you have a problem with age gaps then this book is probably not for you, but if you don't mind then I hope you enjoy! Also Manny's character is portrayed by Maia Mitchell and Lonny is portrayed by Bailee Madison.
