She has a slight fear of Victor. - Emiel is Juliette's partner and would do anything to protect her. He's quite jealous, but only when necessary. He's a real man, not a boy. - Victor occasionally throws a challenging look at Emiel, as if silently daring him. Emiel feels more and more uncomfortable. Victor is very smart and cunning, and he would do anything to win Juliette over, convincing her that Emiel isn't right for her, but that he himself is.
