Ivory Spade Paschal is an undoubtedly unique and eccentric individual who comes from a violent past. When a series of kidnappings and missing persons cases takes place in her small town, Ivory must either attempt to find a way to rescue her long lost childhood best friend, Jackson Ledger, who went missing along with the crowd, or succumb to her trauma and drug addiction. After hearing voices calling out to her from the forest that sets aside her neighborhood, she ventures into the sea of trees in hopes to uncover the secret as to where her childhood friend must be. However, what she discovers is a dreamlike alternate dimension filled with unusual human-like beings known as demons. Ivory learns the truth about herself and the reason why she is so different from her peers. She now must choose between finding her way back home, or leaving her past behind while finding her peace within the sacred realm, all while inevitably falling for a strapping, clever demon with blood red hair.
