This book is set before the book earth, when MacKenzie, child of fire, is 12 years old. MacKenzie is an elemental child who lives in the only place safe for people like her. MacKenzie has been dying to go on a quest and rumors have been flying around that some important things have been stolen. Everyone is told that to find out more, they need to wait for a certain earth child to arrive. When Pres arrives, MacKenzie is told that Pres is the earth child. She also finds out that the weapons of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air were stolen. She knows that she needs to go on the quest with Pres and recover the weapons, starting with the earth sword. But will MacKenzie be able to go? Will they find the earth sword in time? ******Note: The percy Jackson books may have influenced this story a little, but most things (like the characters) are mine. I did not use any direct references, though.
