This story is about a 19 year old girl who's moving to New York on her own. She has a younger brother and an older brother. When she was 14 she already saved money so she could study in New York, and now she finally has enough money. She leaves all of her family and friends in her hometown.

A Change Of Heart?
Camryn has always been bullied. Not just at school but in her own home also by her stepfather. Ever since her father passed when she was five years old, a couple years later, her mother got remarried and he saved her family financially. Any time she had ever told her mom about the abuse, she would tell her to suck it up. So she kept quiet and started eating her feelings hoping also that if she became big, he wouldn't hurt her as much. Now though, they have moved into a new town and her stepfather's reputation and wealth doesn't help situations at school from the moment she first steps foot on campus. Right away she is a target for not just being the newest kid in town, but also a big girl and that everyone assumes is a spoiled brat. There is one person in particular who most fear and has a 'badboy/player' reputation but also happens to be pretty popular. Rodster is the biggest badboy in town whosd parents both died a couple years apart from whe. he was little and his grandmother that had taken care of him up until recently she died, he has been taking care of himself for years and happens to not believe in love or caring too much about anyone but himself. Then the new girl walks into school and right away, holds up his reputation and starts to pick on her until one night, he see's something he can not UNSEE. Now, he needs to hurry and make a decision of what is more important......His reputation or being a decent human being...... Some people WANT and CAN change but then there are those who will NEVER change. With her Mom constantly struggling to keep her family running due to the lack of income her family receives. Adeline is forced to pull her weight for her family by working more than 2 times a week, causing pure exhaustion and anxiety. When time rolls around and suddenly Adeline is buttoning up her uniform for school, she's shocked as to why 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 calls out to her in the hallway. Everybody seemed to enjoy drama and teasing the new girl relentlessly but she knows how to stand up for herself and she can be more dangerous than they think. Some trauma from home is found and in danger of being told, things that she doesn't really want people to know. You'd think getting through high school would be easy. A certain bad boy who happens to be her neighbor takes a keen interest in her. She's never liked anyone and has had no real interest in any relationship, only her studies that kept her busy. He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do.
