"Daniel," Harleen grasped her brother's shoulders. "do you want to go to the circus?"
Ten year old Harleen Quinzel takes her younger brother to the circus one night when her parents are fighting over who knows what. At the circus she catches the eye of a certain ginger haired boy.
Five years later, 15 year old Harleen just moved from Metropolis to Gotham with her father when he is offered a job at Arkham Asylum.
When Harleen comes to work with her father one day she meets Jerome Valeska. The teenager takes an immediate liking to Harleen.
This story doesn't take place in any particular episode.
I do not own any Gotham or Batman characters.
