the avatar's big sister // legend of korra

――✧・゚: *✧・゚:*――

❝ there was something hidden inside those sharp sapphire eyes,
ones that shun brighter than the south sea at dawn,
ones that glew almost as if they became a barrier to conceal the pain
and suffering of the mistakes and regrets of the past behind it. ❞

"katrina of the southern water tribe" was her everyday role in society living amongst the capricious four nations and her sole purpose was to protect her younger sister, who just happened to be the master of all four elements and bridge between the material worlds and the spirit realm.

but alas, if being the older sister to a stubborn, determined, and very head-strong avatar wasn't enough, she had to also face and live the dire consequences of her secret past, all simply because she was foolish enough to learn the forbidden sub-practice of her element.

                                                                                                 ★ ★ ★
