Indigo only wanted to graduate university and become a geneticist, but when an alien race that call themselves the "Marroth" attack, everything is thrown into chaos: 99% of the human race is killed in the first month and the government is nonexistent. In an effort to survive, Indigo joins a resistance group bent on forcing the Marroth off of the earth, but that has little-to-no chance of actually succeeding.
Argen is a member of the physically powerful Marroth who believes in the cause to invade and destroy the earth, but when her ignis, an alien creature of immense power, is captured by the resistance, her beliefs are challenged.
Both the Humans and Marroth authorities are keeping secrets and neither is open to change. The only people who have any chance of creating peace are a sociopathic alien and a brilliant graduate student, and neither understands the motivation of the other race.

The Virus Within: The Unranked (Book 4)

50 parts Complete

Season 4 of The Virus Within Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again. When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
