Paul is an English business man who lives with his musician girlfriend, Jennifer in London taking us trough a day in paul and jennifer's life the story opens by showing different events such as jennifer getting burnt on a kettle, jennifer messed up her jacket and being interrupted on a meeting of paul.
as the day progresses we read about paul in the taxi he tells the driver about how he and jennifer go trough dificulties
the driver recommends him to just love her after jennifer's concert that night paul dismiss jennifer's favorite student at dinner jennifer confronts paul where her frustration boils over. she gets angry at paul's attitude toward her and tells him that she just wants him to love her
