When a lone Phoenix egg is found atop a tower, deranged cultists attempt to bring the horrific creature to life. Known for its destructive nature, the Phoenixes of the past were said to be all-consuming devourers of the land. The Phoenix's lasting impression throughout many different lives around the world are told in a series of short stories. The lines between good and evil become blurred as everyone struggles to find their place, and survive in it. The ones who are considered brave heroes of the world will be shrouded in darkness and misery and will have to find the light that has been engulfed in blackness. Searching through what seems like emptiness, they'll have to decide what truly is the light they are fighting for.
