"Don't be afraid, little one." The wolf smiled. His big white teeth glowing from the sun light.
"Who are you?" Chloe demanded.
"Who are you?" The wolf countered.
"I asked first!" Chloe crossed her arms. Standing up. Looking for the quickest place to run.
"I'm Hudson" he growled, obviously annoyed by Chloe's stubbornness.
"Now what's your name?" The wolf asked again.
"I'm Chloe." The little girl stuttered.
"Well Chloe..." The wolf began to ran towards her.
He growled as he jumped onto the rock, tackling her to the ground.

I faced the direction of the woods that the movement was coming from. I dug my claws into the ground and lowered myself ready to pounce. Ethan stood the opposite of me, facing the other way. Movement was coming from the other way as well. I could feel his wolf tighten behind me as he got ready to pounce. "Sierra",he softly growled. I didn't say anything as I waited for what he had to say. Birds made noise as they flew over us. Meaning they were getting closer. I left my chest touch the ground and the vibrations of them getting closer were stronger. "If you have my back I have yours",he backs up until our hips are touching. I felt a touch of power from what he said. I eternally chuckle. I felt bad for whatever was coming towards us. A low growl came from the both of us as they were impossibly near. Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I make a flying leap to attack and am suddenly hit with a strong, overwhelming scent of vanilla and citrus. "Mate!" My wolf yells in my head. My conviction evaporates and confusion hits me, but I don't have time to think about what this means. I twist the end of the red strings that tie around my neck. My red hood flying behind me, as if wings. I hear a loud creak and turn around quickly. The red eyes glow amongst the darkness. The air reeked of the smell of sulfur. I point my crossbow into the darkness. "Show yourself" I shout out calmly. "Oh, little miss Red, you are looking for Jenivive, aren't you? Well it's just me, her loyal servant" The voice echoes through the abandoned factory. Damn it! "Bastian, show yourself!" I yell, and hear the sound of someone running. I turn around to see Bastian in my face, no breathe flowed from his mouth. I immediately shoot, sending holy water into its core, and into its blood stream. It falls over and begins spazing out. "Go back to hell!" I yell and stab it with my blade. My red hood flew backwards, causing my black hair to be shown. My black boots stretched to my knees. My crystal blue eyes shown bright. "I know you are there," she said, her heart beating loud in her chest as her eyes searched frantically around. "I can...sense you." My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.Terminé
