Going to Hosho Academy, Tochiba Toriko has begun his life as a third year high school. Born in a wealthy family and being an average student, he couldn't ask for more.

One day, while going home from school with his friends, One of his friends was about to get hit by a speeding car. He went out of his way to rescue him, ending up being the one hit. He received a fractured skull, quite a few broken bones, and a couple of disrupted organs due to the accident.

He got into a coma, and the doctor told his parents that he has no chance of living.

However, after a mere month, he woke up, finding himself holding a golden sword and wearing something that looks like a medieval armour. His parents were elated when he woke up, but when he began asking them about the armour, his parents told him that he was being delusional. He accepted the fact, but he could still feel the sword and the heaviness of the armour.

The armour is invisible to the human eyes.

Toriko woke up and found himself wearing an armour that no humans can see. What is this armour? Who gave it to him? If he isn't a human anymore, what's his purpose?

Thus, Toriko's new life began as he seek the answers.
