A tale sought to be as old as time. A story told around a campfire as the children eagerly leaned in, hungry for the next plot. The story of young gods that commanded the winds and tides, that wove your fate and destiny; gods that rode into battle on the backs of mighty steads, axe in hand, and shield in the other. A story of thunder and lightning, and snakes that writhed through tall grass. A story of love. Asgard and Vanaheim. Two sister realms of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Both realms raged war for centuries over a long forgotten matter. Thousands killed, cities laid to waste. From this war, Freya and Iwaldi, rulers of Vanaheim, strike a truce with the All-Father Odin in attempt to finally bring everlasting peace through the Nine Realms. Sigyn, Princess of Vanaheim, and Thor, Son of Odin, are arranged to marry for the sake of their realms. Neither of them want it. Neither of them love each other. The young God of Mischief, however, brews himself a plan. But, with all the bad luck in the nine realms, Loki falls for the young Princess. Young love blossoms like a flower from its bud. Both families are against it and try everything in their power to keep them apart. It's not an ideal match. The silver-tongued Prince cannot be trusted to keep everlasting peace. Whether it be The Norns, nothing can keep them apart in the end. Until a terrible tragedy bestows them and Loki falls from Asgard. (Based on Norse Mythology.)

Saudade, meaning: ("the love that remains" even after someone is gone; a nostalgic or melancholic longing to be near again to something or someone that is distant, or that has been loved and then lost) (Sequel to Imprisoned; with over 100k reads!) Cover art credit to: @Mcustories22 (here on Wattpad) #This story has the Age of Ultron events that happen before Captain America the Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War. And this part of the story takes place after the events of CAWS and CACW.# ~I do not own any character's except for Sarah and Valerie~ ***** With the events of the Winter Soldier and Civil war passed, Sarah finds herself living in Wakanda with Valerie, staying hidden from the government with T'Chala's help. Sarah and her now almost-three-year-old daughter have made a home for themselves in Wakanda and have been assisting in Bucky's recovery once he was taken out of the freezing chamber. Pietro travels to and from Wakanda, making sure to pay plenty of visits to Sarah and Valerie. And Wanda even makes a few trips with Vision. But now after three years, the Avengers are forced to work together again to defeat an even bigger enemy, Thanos. Loki manages to flee Asgard with his family and Thor right before Ragnorok demolished Asgard, and as Thor is establishing New Asgard in Norway, Loki sets out to find Sarah and brings his family along. After so long of being apart Loki and Sarah find themselves in a difficult position when the feelings that never left, re-surface. They've both changed in so many ways, and with Loki now married to Sigyn for political advantages, the obstacles are high and the prices are higher. Life seems to be determined to keep them apart but with Thanos, on his way to Earth, it doesn't leave much time left for them if things go wrong.
Doesn't Play Well With Tricksters by AJK_ForFun

In this alternate universe, Loki has been exiled to Midgard when Odin sees through his disguise (Think the end of Thor, The Dark World). He is haunted by his part in the death of his adoptive mother. He has visions of her that may be her talking to him from beyond the veil of death or just his overactive guilty conscience playing tricks on him. Either way, he has promised her he will do everything he can to make up for the things he's done. Even if it takes until the end of time itself. As part of his penance, Loki is restricted to Stark Tower until such time as the team believes he is no longer a threat to the world. As it gives him the opportunity to try to keep his promise, he doesn't argue. Much. Rachael has recently acquired magic from a relative. Shortly after, she was recruited by Stark and moved into Stark Tower to help the team. It's the one place she would never have expected to encounter the God of mischief himself, who happens to be the root of the magic she doesn't trust. (Long story short, Rachael's ancestor Bridgette fell for Loki when he was on Midgard nearly four hundred years ago. Eight months after Odin ordered his sons home, Bridgette had a daughter. Skip about five years of wishing for him, and Bridgette accepts that he's not coming back. She marries and has other children. One of these later children is Rachael's ancestor. The elder child is the ancestor of Rachael's distant cousin Nicolla, who was adopted by Rachael's grandmother and raised as Rachael's aunt. Still confused? Leave a note and I'll try to clear it up for you.) Missions start to come in that force them to work together, and force her to admit he's doing what he can to make up for the destruction he's caused. At first, Rachael refuses to acknowledge the attraction she feels, but he, being the annoying godling he is, seems unable to take no (or a stiff right hook) for an answer. Contains adult language, themes, and (eventually) some sexual content (smut).
