Yvonne is a closeted lesbian who finally breaks it off with her boyfriend after realizing she doesn't want fake her feelings anymore. Attempting to accept her sexuality, she goes to one of her favorite coffee shops to get her favorite cold drink. While being there, Candace, a pom captain from her rival high school, confuses her and Yvonne's drink. Instead of fighting over it, they decide to share the drink as a result.

After that day, the girls decide to keep in touch. Yvonne, known for being a hopeless romantic, fell hard for Candace, but what happens when Yvonne realizes Candace is straight?
