Request for her foster care became more and more frequent, they wanted to "save" the traumatise child, but she barely lasted a month in a home. The workers decided that a trouble maker like her shouldn't go into the foster system if it could be helped, after all they didn't need everything they worked for to get the orphanages good name to be wrecked by one child. So after years of moving from home to home, then to orphanage to orphanage the woman who would change her life forever stepped through the creaky wooden door and placed her Sunday hat on the metallic coat hanger. Smiling cheerfully, she leaned over the large messy desk and rang the diminutive bell. The head of the "Happy Times Orphanage" came scurrying out at once.
"How may I help you?" Her nasally voice strained to ask.
"Could I please see the most troubled case's profile?" She whispered. " I'm a therapist and I try to help foster the children with in my expertise." She explained briefly.

They walked along the corridors in privet quietly until they came to an empty room with a couch flooded by cushions and a light brown coffee table. The Head mistress place the yellow file onto the small table in a annoyed matter. "I don't think she's worth your time, dear, but go ahead and have a look," she huffed.
The therapist stared in wonder, shocked by the other woman's sudden outburst. She gently stretched her hand forward and flipped the open the aged folder.
"She's a real trouble maker, a waste of your time if I say so myself."
"I'll take her than." Said the therapist solemnly, placing her hands in her lap.

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?"
