"The past is useless, all that is needed to live on is the present and the future."
This has been your way of life for as long as you could remember, which isn't too long since your memories were wiped clean by the river. You had no idea what your life before that was like, all that you knew was your name. Your life has been a whirlwind of living in poverty, committing illegal deeds, and dealing with customers with more than a few screws loose. You only cared about two things in this world, 1) living to see tomorrow, and 2) making sure the only people you loved were alive and well.

Ciel Phantomhive made doing those two things a whole hell of a lot harder.

(DISCLAIMER- I do not own Black Butler, this is just something I decided to write out of boredom. There will be heavy, dark topics covered in here *cough including gore cough* so if you don't think you can handle it, please don't read this. I don't want anyone to be disturbed *too much cough* by what I have written. Thank you! :3)
